When it comes to old-fashioned quality Maine food. The food we grew up with, this is the place to come. Everything here is wonderful, but I must say that meatball sub that they do is out of this world.

Was in town for the 2022 Swine and Stein Brewfest in October. For Lunch I had a small Steak Bomb. This was probably the best one I have had so far. For Supper had a large Meatball Sub. Good sized meatballs with a good balance of tomatoe sauce and cheese. Both were toasted with the bread being crispy and delicious. Friendly staff, comfortable seating and a positive atmosphere, thank you!

My husband and I stopped in for the first time. Ordered pizza and WOW! This was the best local pizza we have found. The staff was amazing and we had to let them know! Great job and we will be returning soon!

We got a large vegetarian pizza on a Friday night to go. It was ordered and ready in under 15 minutes. Tons of toppings. Their pizza sauce is really great. The proportions of cheese, sauce, and toppings were perfect. Best pizza I’ve had in quite a while. The service was great. Plenty of smiles. Love it.

Gerard’s brings me back to New England pizza places before corporate chains. Simple menu board and furnishings let the crew focus on the food. Great flavor. Crust was crispy and chewy. I wish I lived closer. Thanks!!

Idk what they are doing but the hotdogs are surprisingly good. You wouldn't think from a place with pizza in the name but they are good. The grilled cheese is also good and the burgers are worth the order. Keep up the good work and yea

This place is an icon. I've been going there since a little boy starting in the late 1960s. I remember Gerard and his back room of pinball machines. When we ordered a pizza, he would place it on a cardboard plate, invert another one on top, staple them together, and that 's how we took out pizzas home. No special cardboard boxes in those days! His Italian sandwiches were the best around. I think that his secret was to used boiled salami (not cotto), kept in olive oil. If you want classic, iconic, Maine comfort food-this is the place to go!!
